Violence touches his surroundings and triggers the first encounter with death, the discovery of the fragility of his father, and the learning of masculinity in his vulnerable world. Everything happens between games and perplexities. It is life in a violent Mexico, where only growing implies danger.

Paco is a young man who has gone through many difficulties since he was orphaned, he had to work hard as a clown in the streets of Guanajuato to be able to stay. One day, Paco meets April, a very pretty young woman, whom he fell in love with in her childhood, together with Pablito a young orphan, they will do the impossible to conquer April.

They mistakenly believe this to be an American horse and thus begin a journey in search of General Obregón, who they assume, will appoint them as colonels given their peculiar beast of burden. They partake in several adventures during their journey.
