Um dos subprodutos do movimento Blaxploitation, O Monstro de Duas Cabeças conta a bizarra história de um velho milionário e racista (vivido por Ray Milland) que, devido a uma grave doença, tem sua cabeça transplantada para o corpo de um negro (Rosey Grier, primo da estrela negra Pam Grier, de Jackie Brown). O detalhe é que o negro está vivo e ambas as cabeças precisam conviver com o mesmo corpo. A partir daí, o que se vê na tela é um desfile de situações absurdas, que entrou para a história do cinema como um dos mais divertidos libelos contra o racismo.
