Ramana Reddy (1 October 1921 – 11 November 1974) was an Indian film, character actor, comedian and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Ramana Reddy is regarded as one of the finest comic actors of India, noted particularly for his comic expressions, and dialogues during the golden age of Telugu cinema. He and Relangi Venkata Ramaiah were a comedy double act during the era of early Tollywood. Some of his memorable roles are David in Missamma, Karanam in Rojulu Marayi, Chinnamaya in Mayabazar, Kanchu Gantayya in Gundamma Katha and many other roles. During his career spanning 24 years he has acted in more than 200 movies. Reddy is the paternal uncle of Indian politician, and filmmaker T. Subbarami Reddy.

Tikku
Daiva Balam (transl. God's Grace) is a 1959 Telugu-language swashbuckler film, produced and directed by Ponnaluru Vasanthakumar Reddy. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Jayasri, with music composed by Ashwatthama. The film is the debut of Shobhan Babu in the film industry. The film is known to be one of the earliest Telugu film containing sequences in Eastman color.
Bheemasena Rao (SV Rangarao) is a dignified and respectful man. His son (R. Nageswara Rao) works in Military services. His daughter is Rukmini (Jamuna). His close friend and relative Salahala Rao (Ramana Reddy) is trying to arrange marriage to his daughter. Krishna Rao (Akkineni) is his relative of Salahala Rao. Chinnappa
Karthavarayuni Katha (transl. Story of Karthavaraya) is a 1958 Indian Telugu-language Hindu mythological film, produced and directed by T. R. Ramanna under the R. R. Pictures banner. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Savitri, with music composed by G. Ramanadhan and Ashwathama. The film was simultaneously made as the Tamil movie Kathavarayan (1958) by the same banner and director.
Chinnamaya
Balarama promises Subhadra to get his daughter married to her son. However, when he loses his kingdom to the Kauravas, Balarama has no choice but to break his promise.
Lakshmi is a child orphaned by the death of her parents lives in the house of her uncle. Her aunt (Suryakantam) loves her daughter Kathyayani (Janaki) and neglects and harass Lakshmi. Hence she goes to her grandfather's house. Her grandfather also dies, forcing her to go back to the uncle's house. Once the marriage proposal for Kathyayani turns towards Lakshmi. Taking the blame of her aunt, she left home and reaches Tirupathi to commit suicide.

Wife) is a 1956 Indian Telugu-language drama film written by Vempati Sadasivabrahmam and directed by T. Prakash Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Anjali Devi and Savitri, with music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao. The film is based on Rabindranath Tagore's 1906 Bengali novel Noukadubi. It was simultaneously made in Tamil as Mathar Kula Manikkam (1956). Story and Dialogues were by Vempati Sadasivabrahmam
Karanam Sambaiah
Venu enlightens the villagers against Sagarayya, a greedy landlord who grabs barren lands of the village, and reports to the Collector. Sagarayya creates a rift between Venu and his father which affects his sister's marriage. Venu starts living separately with his wife Radha. The film shows the revolt of the villagers against their oppressors

Two unemployed college graduates from Madras, Rao and Mary act as if they are a married couple to get a job as school teachers in a small village called Appapuram. The story unfolds into an extremely hilarious comedy as they try to cover up that Mary is a christian. They are assisted in their drama by Devaiah-a friend and ex-beggar in fooling the family they work for.
Chalapathi
Zamindar of a village has no children and adopts a boy from an Orphanage. The boy grows up as Anandarao (NTR) and returns to the village after higher education. Zamindar, while dying, hands over the estate affairs to Ramaiah (Doraiswamy), who gains good reputation and prestige. He has a son Satyam (ANR) and a daughter Sundaramma (Savitri). Anandrao feels jealous about Ramaiah. Chalapathi (Ramana Reddy) and Pitchaiah (Chadalavada) adds to his jealousy. He insults Ramaiah and stops the donation program running on the name of Zamindar. Satyam as unemployed joins as a Bus conductor and Ramaiah dies of helplessness. Anandrao purchases the Bus and dismisses Satyam from the job.
Chakrapani, a miser, decides to save a large sum of money to gift it to his great-grandson. But he faces many hurdles while trying to achieve his objective.
