Os funcionários do Fábrica de Pijamas Sleeptite (Durma Bem) estão procurando um colossal aumento de 7,5 centavos por hora e eles não vão aceitar um não como resposta. Babe Williams (Doris Day) é a representante mal-humorada dos empregados mas ela pode ter encontrado alguém igual no superintendente de vendas Sid Sorokin (John Raitt). A pleasant getaway turns into a nightmare thanks to the antics of Junior, an uncooperative tent, a lazy and oblivious Henry, and a skunk.
