The Hayung's family represented indigenous families in Taiwan. Each tribe represents a withering big family. The eldest son Pasang joins in the election campaign, neglecting the opposition from his family. The second son, who is a farmer, is thus affected. After the election campaign, the entire family is on the verge of falling apart, and the village witnesses the snow for the first time in a very long time... With snow melting, new lives emerge. The broken family has started mending and repairing...

The story is set in a small southern town at the beginning of the century, where people believed that innocence and hope would lead to a better tomorrow.

University students, Feng (Tsao Yuning), Victory (Carlos Chan), Mei Qi, Xiaoyu and Ali, are assigned to do special research in The Moral Education College during summer vacation. The school has been occupied by the Japanese to do cruel human experiments, they found an alumni records about ghost experience, and also found that some girls was mysterious disappeared. A staff of the school, Miss Fang (Esther Huang) led them to know the environment, then a chain of strange things happened in that evening, and finally they are forced to flee to a century-old tree, unexpectedly they saw the Principal of the college dig out some bones unconsciously under the tree. Are the bones and all the strange things related? Can the 5 people go out of the school safely?

The three of them run into artist Patrick Star, who tries to hang himself. To prevent him from committing suicide, they take him along and then rescue a newborn deer on the way. When they finally reach the spot of hidden cypress, Ah De is dumbfounded by what he sees. Xin Lan also feels that, as a patrol officer, she must follow the protocol and stop Ah-de’s illegal activities. The wood thief that stalks them also shows up, trying to take the cypress from them. With all of them fighting one another, how will this journey end?
