Lila is an idealistic, serious lawyer who defends tortured women. In contrast to her, Andre with his flirtatious attitude, is a corporate lawyer with big clients. Then Lila represents her client, Dr. Gatot, who wants to divorce his wife, Angel, a dangdut singer. Both parents want to custody of their only child. This case brings Lila and Andre together as the latter is Angel’s lawyer. Their relationship develops into romance. Love makes Andre neglect the interest of his client, Angel, while Lila doubts the sincerity of his love.

Regi suffers from depression since childhood, being raised by wealthy parents who have little time for her, but plenty to fight with and cheat on each other. While in college she meets and becomes close to Rajib, a drug dealer. Developing an intense hatred for men, inspired by her violent and insensitive father, she identifies as a lesbian. Her introduction to the drug-scene engulfs her and she develops a cocaine habit which rapidly accelerates into a preference for White China heroin. She meets and falls in love with Rajibs ex drug-dealing partner, Vela, who has already become a hardcore junkie. Her and Vela's downward spiral into chronic addiction is portrayed powerfully throughout the film as is their intense attachment to each other. The plot (based on a true story) is exceptional in its depiction of the drug problems in Indonesia, the often terrible 'solutions' to these problems, and the reasons behind why they occur.

Bullied and slandered by the naughty kids, Galang, the smartest boy in class, is branded as a troublemaker by the teachers and the headmaster. Even Ariel, his classmate, shuns him and believes the negative rumors. Galang is upset and takes revenge on all the boys who have bullied him, including Ariel, by leading them to a house where children have been mysteriously disappearing. The rumor is that a half-human creature has been eating the children who go inside. Feeling guilty, Galang quickly notifies the school principal to report to the police. But the headmaster does not believe him. So Galang decides to rescue Ariel by himself.

This film is an expression of the way of life of adolescents as told from the point of view of the teenagers themselves as they rebel against the world of adults. Susan (Nunu Datau), Dody (Adjie Massaid) dan Rini (Cornelia Agatha) are students at SMA 2000. They have unconsciously formed a kind of gang. The film follows the activities of these young people while they are in school, on holiday, and just hanging around. The film focuses on Rini, nicknamed “tomboy”, an expert in karate who dreams of being a martial arts master and hero.

Elegi for Nana tells about Nana (Ria Irawan) who suffered from end stage leukemia but still trying to do the best in the rest of his life. Reo (Ryan Hidayat) a friend who eventually became his girlfriend trying to offer a song over it all.
