Sergey, um jovem surdo-mudo, começa a estudar num internato especializado que abriga secretamente uma rede de crime e prostituição entre seus estudantes, “a tribo”. Neste novo ambiente, ele é forçado a aceitar as duras regras da gangue e participa de vários assaltos, o que lhe garante o respeito dos colegas. Quando ele conhece Anna, uma das amantes do líder da gangue, ele acaba quebrando uma das regras veladas da tribo. Um filme rodado em linguagem de sinais e sem narração ou legendas, já que o amor e o ódio não precisam de tradução.
