Fugindo da Cerimônia de Entrada para a faculdade, o tímido Makoto, acaba conhecendo a sorridente e fã de rosquinhas Shizuru, tentando atravessar a rua. Shizuru, logo fica interessada no garoto e o segue na faculdade, no entanto, Makoto, está gostando de sua bela colega de classe Miyuki. Embora triste, Shizuru, decide apoiar os dois e passa a se interessar em aprender fotografia que é o hobby de Makoto. On Fuki's fourteenth birthday, Masami promises to confess everything when Fuki becomes 20 years old. After her graduation from high school, Fuki moves to Tokyo to work as a camera assistant. Fuki starts off her hectic life in Tokyo, and soon, her nineteenth birthday comes. As usual, she receives a birthday card from Masami. A year later...
