Normah is married to a workaholic painter who is more intent on making money out of his art than showing concern and affect for her. She couldn't care less about his artistic pursuits and spends time dolling herself up. Tengku Iskandar helps to run his father's business in Singapore and is known among his friends as Ariffin. He is a hardworking and passionate young man who helps his friends in distress. He is also on good terms with Marhani who works as a nurse in a hospital in Johor Bahru. Amir loved his son so much that he gave all his attention to his son not knowing of his wife's affair with a man named Hassan who happens to be Amir's close friend. Hassan in the end managed to talk Aminah out in leaving Amir and bringing her child along.
