In the snow-covered geography of Anatolia, in the Burmadere village of Ardahan, a 70-year-old woman is found dead in her home. While Fuad is examining this suspicious death, another death news comes. This news causes doctor Cemre and the prosecutor to come to Burmadere village. The trio, whose paths intersect with these events, are stuck around the incessant suspicious deaths and their struggle turns to face their own consciences and reckoning.

Mızrap is a 40-year old man who is deemed "no good". He lives in a small town in the province of Antakya. His father throws him out as a bluff, while scolding him, after Mizrap loses his job. But Mizrap, stung by his father's words, calls him on his bluff and leaves his father, mother, sister and niece to go on a cross-country trip to stay with his old army buddy Salim, who lives in a village near Mersin. Across the hard way he meets a number of representatives of marginalized groups in Turkish society.

Eleni is in love with a young and handsome Turk, Sedat (Tolgahan Sayışman), who also lives on Büyükada with his father, horse carriage driver Halil. These two have been sweethearts since their childhood, and now in college they have decided to further their relationship by tying the wedding knot. The only problem is that Eleni's father does not even know that these wild kids are hitched, since Eleni anticipated that the rich Stavro would never consent to her marrying a Turkish boy from a poor family. Sedat continuously pushes Eleni to tell Stavro of their plans, but the fragile girl can't summon up her courage. Meanwhile, in the background, the relationship between the Greeks and Turks of Cyprus is getting tenser by the day, affecting the situation of the Greek population in Turkey. On March 16, 1964, İsmet İnönü and the Cabinet come to a decision that all Turkish citizens of Greek descent must migrate to Greece.

Dilber lives with her family in a very poor eastern village, her only dream is to marry her childhood lover, Ali. But when she finds out that it won't happen because of a reason that she can't get away with, she gets crazy and lock herself up in her family's barn. Then she makes everybody knows that she'll marry the first guy who proposes and won't leave the barn till that happens. One day, a limping man comes to the village. He's alone and has heard that there's a girl in that village who's ready to marry him.

In the southeast region of Turkey, the Altun family lives in a small mountainside village plagued by a 25-year war, making their daily life a hellish struggle. As the war continues to intensify, the family is forced to migrate west to the city of Istanbul. While Haydar and Isa Altun decide to stay in Turkey with their young children, Davut Altun and his family migrate north to Norway, enlisting the help of smugglers. They eventually reach their destination and find work in a supermarket, but life as refugees proves relentless. Back in Istanbul, Haydar watches over the family as his wife undergoes an operation due to pregnancy complications. Their son makes friends with a group of transvestites, helping him to understand why he has felt different all of his life. While liberating, his newfound identity is seen as a disgrace to the rest of his family, leading him to flee from the abuse it produces.

Yusuf Miroğlu and Zeynep travel to Diyarbakır in southeast Turkey to attend his best friend Cemal's wedding. While performing the traditional halay dance at the wedding, Cemal is killed by an assassin. Cemal's widowed wife Leyla pleads Yusuf to find the people behind the murder and bring them to justice. Yusuf finds himself caught in a struggle against the PKK and other terrorist groups in the area.

After his pregnant wife killed by thinner addicts, Ersin Balkan, decides on to establish a school for children who are abandoned ad thinner addicts. Noticing that he can not afford a such thing with his salary, takes a new career and becomes a singer.
