Set in Thailand, between April-June 1999, 'A Moment In June' is a story of the fusion of six lives, a song that links them together, a hope of the second chance that might never come and a moment they all need to make a life-changing decision.

Khao Niao, a young girl, is left at her relatives' house by her mother, Bee. Although she is surrounded by familiar faces, she still feels very lonely and blames her mother for 'abandoning' her here. One day, while wandering around, Khao Niao finds a stray puppy. Thinking that the dog is as lonely as she is, she decides to bring him home even though she knows that her relatives will not like him. This is only the beginning of a journey between Khao Niao and her puppy, Moo Ping.

A Bangkok talk radio station has a program on people's relationship problems. There are many call ins from people who are gay or from people who find out their lovers are really gay as is common in Thailand. In fact many Thai women often complain how they find a Mr. Handsome only to find out later that their Mr. Perfect Haircut is gay.

Kenji é um jovem bibliotecário japonês que mora em Bangkok, na Tailândia. Extremamente tímido, é obcecado por organização e pela morte (especialmente a dele mesmo e não necessariamente nessa ordem). De repente, uma tragédia coloca à sua frente Noi, uma garota que é o seu oposto: desencanada, expansiva e que vive em uma casa que parece ter brigado definitivamente com a vassoura e com o detergente há décadas. Depois de um início cheio de estranhezas, os dois vão se entendendo.
