Um escritor conhece uma mulher atraente e se apaixona à primeira vista. Será que vai durar esse amor? Goo Joo-wol é escritor e trabalha meio-turno como garçom. Ele trabalha em seu segundo romance mas está sem novas ideias para continuar. Joo-Wol acompanha então o presidente da sua editora a Berlim em uma viagem de negócios como tradutor. Em seu último dia em Berlim, Joo-Wol vai a uma festa com pessoas ligadas à indústria cinematográfica e, entediado com a festa, vai para fora para fumar um cigarro. Uma mulher chamada Hee-Jin caminha até ele e fuma. Joo-Wol se apaixona à primeira vista. De volta à Seul, Hee-Jin encontra uma carta e uma cesta de flores sobre a mesa. Hee-Jin lê a carta de Joo-Wol e a acha engraçada. Enquanto isso, Joo-Wol aguarda incessantemente por sua ligação. Finalmente, Joo-Wol recebe a ligação e se encontram pela segunda vez.
