Adžo
The story of poet Aleksa Santic, visionary and romanticist, great loser in private life. The poet was born in strict patriarchal, rich trading family from Mostar, in conservative social environment, in controversial times in the end of XIX and beginning of XX century. As a young man, he falls in love with the Slavonian girl, Anka Tomlinovic, daughter of poor photographer, leaving her under pressure of his family. Later, he meets Zorka Solina, young and rich girl from Mostar who, again because of the interests of her family, leaves the poet. In his mature years, Aleksa Santic engages himself passionately in social and political life of his age. Disappointments, poverty, sickness and loneliness follow. And the certainty of early death. His older brother tells the story of poet's life, while he is dying.
A ranger whose passion is nude painting comes to work in a remote Bosnian village. He asks the local women to pose naked for him. They are shy at first, but they eventually agree to do so. This makes their husbands furious, who think that the ranger is sleeping with their wives.

A greedy trader who becomes convinced that a house is hidden in the wall of a house, decides to buy the house at all costs.
A young journalist is sent to a small Bosnian town to interview people on happiness. He mixes up with local affair and has a romance with a student. He gets a shock when he finds out that he is going to be important due to childhood mumps.
Two friends dream of what they will do when they become adults. One friend dreams of travelling to far off places, but stays at home. The other one leaves and sends him postcards from exotic locations, with descriptions of impossible adventures. But, his friend at home engages in a passionate love affair with his beautiful young landlady. When his friend-the traveller returns he admits he may have exaggerated about some of his adventure stories.. The two friends continue on dreaming of new excitements.
An ex-prosecutor comes to provincial hotel to commit suicide there. Prior to this act, he first calls persons who made him bring up such decision. Conversations over telephone reveal the causes and circumstances that led to tragedy.

Yugoslavian anthology movie with three stories. "Father": Germans are taking hostages, peasants from local fields. One old man is begging for German officer to release his sons. Officer offers him releasing of one of his sons, but other will be shot. "Swamp": Two Partisans are in swamp, surrounded by enemies. One of them is wounded, and other one wants to save him by any cost. "Ada": Story about twist of fate, when father and son find them self on different side of the gunpoint.
Komandir čete
A tragicomic tale of lumberjack who joined the partisans during WW2. As a corporal, he successfully and courageously fulfilled the combat tasks with his partisan battalion. The commander sends him on a special assignment.
Shortly after World War II, the government sent a crew of drivers with large tractors to clear-cut and plow a vast, barren piece of land called "Krst Rakoc" in the hills of Kosovo and Metohia, for future orchards. They encounter deprecation and revolt from indigenous Albanian population who do not believe in good intentions of the government and the crew.
Down under the constant attacks of the German and Bulgarian forces, headquarters one of the partisan detachment in the midst of a severe winter and snow and difficult terrain, with many wounded, he decided to leave the mountain Jastrebac. Gvozden, a peasant from that area, brave warrior, opposes such a decision, was gets ready to leave the unit before detachment. In the interests of discipline, however, Gvozden was convicted and executed on the spot, although it regrets the whole squad.
