The Window
Rositza
Phillip is married to Rositza but has a kid from Marta. Rositza adopts the kid, but she could not keep neither it nor her husband. Phillip takes the kid and moves to the attic where Marta lives. Rositza comes to pick up the kid, since she wants to take care of it. In the quarrel for the kid, get involved the proprietor of the attic Venera and her nephew Svetlozar. Soon everyone starts to unravel his or her own live experiences. The kid does not make a noise in the other room just to show that everyone has forgotten about him. No one from the characters has seen his or her faults. In order for them to avoid their vulnerability, they have a behavior style, which is not part of their human nature. They have lost their essence.

However, Misho is searching for his mother's love in their eyes. Now the people are being kind to him, but there is always an invisible wall. Maybe uncle Elenko is the most sincere, since he shows his feelings in a tragic moment when Misho gets on a roof of a construction site. However, why does he care for Misho end with him convincing him to go to the orphanage?

The kid Kolyo dreams of traveling. One day he meets Bim-Bam who introduces himself as a writer and great traveler. The two build a cabin in a vineyard and live there. They meet different people; start working in the quarry. Time passes. One day someone tells Kolyo that Bim-Bam is no writer. He has stolen the furniture from a local community center. Bim Bam was gone. Kolyo leaves for home, trying to call Bim-Bam with their secret signal.

The film is in 3 parts: 1) 'Eden' - Aliens from the planet Rhea have flown with a damaged spaceship to Earth, looking for intelligent beings. They find apemen and take one of them into their ship. 2) 'The Wanderer' - A crime writer, who is travelling to see his dying friend, picks up a strange hitchhiker. On his return from the sanatorium, his car goes off the road, but the stranger lifts it into the air and lands it back on the highway. Then he goes to the writer's house and shows him his supernatural abilities. 3) 'My First Day' - Len, an alien traveler arrives on Earth to share with humans the knowledge of their ancient civilization. He meets its inhabitants, who are served by robots and travel back in time, because their life is boring and meaningless. Every day his hostess Lena visits an ancient Slavic settlement and monitors its inhabitants. One day she appears before the hunter Bayan, who has been captivated by her beauty and takes her into his hut.
The Stolen Train

In September 1944, an unusual train travels to the Turkish border. Abroad the train are German fascists and Bulgarian King's officers who carry important papers and archives. A group of partisan chases the fugitives with a track. Soon airplanes with red stars on their wings could be seen in the sky. The planes are reinforcements from the Soviet aviation squadron. With its help the partisans capture the fugitives.

The film is based on the memoir 'In the name of the People' by Mitka Grybcheva, an activist in the anti-fascist resistance. The action takes place during the WWII and reveals the sharp clash between police power and resistance forces, headed by the Communist Party of Bulgaria. This is a time when, 'in the name of the people', the fighters are setting up underground combat groups, which punish with death their political opponents. The film's characters are specially trained for the purpose young people, members of one such combat group. Against the background of their risky task, in the execution of which they have to pay with their own lives, every facet of their characters stands out. Faced with death they reveal their intimate worlds, their unrealized youthful impulses that have been sacrificed in the name of commands, disparate from the Ten Christian Commandments.
The Icon Stand

In late 19th century, a carver-cutter arrives in a little town to make the iconostasis of the newly built church. He is being accommodated in the house of a respected family. He is working slowly because of his love for the daughter of his hosts. They resist in every possible way and pay a high price: Their daughter dies. Though in despair, the master completes the iconostasis: a masterpiece the locals perceive as a heresy. And he leaves once again without any destination.
