A rising prosecutor has a lapse in judgment when she spends the night at a rival defense attorney's home. Awakened next to his murdered body, things go from bad to worse when she's asked to prosecute his murder.
Maresnest is the second official video released by Cardiacs and it was recorded live at the Salisbury Arts Centre on 30 June 1990.
Filmed on two u-matic cameras. One static on tripod by mixing desk in middle back of hall. Second - roving at front of stage and at side of stage. Sound recorded on stereo Nagra. One channel line out from foldback mix on mixer. Two channel through Sennheiser mic at back of hall.
The first official video released by Cardiacs, the video contains a ten-minute segment known as The Consultant's Flower Garden, which features the band and other people connected to the band performing several bizarre alternative comedy sketches. This is followed by three music videos.
