After the death of his grandmother Emma, Robin Hunzinger and his mother Claudie find a carefully preserved collection of letters which Emma received from a girl called Marcelle. In the 1920s, Emma and Marcelle met at school in Dijon. Secretly, love blossomed between the two teenage girls, but after two years they parted ways. Marcelle developed tuberculosis and was admitted to a sanatorium. Complementing the sparse photographs of the women, Hunzinger combines archive footage, avant-garde films, and music to create a sensuous, poetic atmosphere.

He was one of the first scientists to provide evidence of the link between greenhouse gases and global warming. That was in 1987. Since then, Jean Jouzel has not stopped fighting against the climate sceptics and urging politicians to commit to the climate. Above all, for more than thirty years, he has encouraged us to change our habits and to take care of our planet to avoid the worst. Between an intimate story and a historical epic, from Janzé in Brittany to Washington via Paris and Tokyo, Jean Jouzel, in the battle of the century is a film about a man and his era, an era that has seen us become aware of the need to change our relationship with the world.

For more than a decade, Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, Adolf Hitler's right-hand man during the infamous Third Reich, assembled a collection of thousands of works of art that were meticulously catalogued. Why did he steal entire collections, mainly those belonging to Jewish families, ultimately victims of the Shoah? Was it to satisfy his aesthetic ambitions and his insatiable personal greed or was he acting in the common interest of the Nazi rulers?

What is a man? Everyone has an answer. For many, manliness is a costume to be worn. In this film, ordinary men ask themselves what led them to adopt the various postures of the manly man. Some of them, because they had to overcome an ordeal that questioned the meaning of masculinity, tell how they distanced themselves from the figure of the "real man". With these intimate, amused and sometimes painful testimonies, director Cécile Denjean weaves a sensitive and powerful film. A film of those who move.
