Joey, the owner of television show has been called to Kg Bonang to investigate the mystery surrounding the gruesome death of a teacher. Following his death, the villagers claim that his spirit can be seen wandering the village looking for a new successor. Along with his daughter and another man, Joey investigates the death of a teacher and soon they disturbed by the spirit called Penunggu Busut.

The story follows Kamasani, a business tycoon with terminal cancer whom seeks Mahabub, a mysterious recluse rumoured to possess a cure. After the expensive treatment Kamasani feels the cancer is reduced, but he starts having serious side effects; he hallucinates and becomes violent. The turning point comes when Vida, a TV reporter uncovers Mahabub's supernatural conspiracy that involves prominent names. Kamasani soon realizes that people have either died or suffered because of his refusal to accept his own fate and vows to set things right.
