Two young women arrive at a curious penthouse apartment, led by one's crush on her tutor. However, her love interest doesn't live alone. He's part of a trio of computer hackers about to embark on the ultimate job on the world's most mysterious mainframe. Whilst doing so, they unlock more than they bargain for with supernatural and ultimately fatal results. Can this seemingly insignificant chain of events, which have thrown this group together, be construed as fate? Can the beacon provide a signal of hope or is it a web of manipulation, paranoia and ultimately... murder?

Setembro de 1944. Segunda Guerra Mundial. O Alto Comando do Exército Britânico planeja a ousada Operação Market Garden, uma tentativa desesperada de tentar terminar com o conflito antes do Natal. Nada menos que 35.000 tropas inglesas são transportadas para atrás das linhas inimigas alemãs, em plena Holanda ocupada, naquilo que seria a maior invasão aérea da história. Em meio a toda esta inacreditável logística de guerra, a pequena unidade "Matchbox" vive o seu próprio inferno. Sob fogo cerrado, sete soldados britânicos acabam se isolando do restante das tropas aliadas, e oficialmente são considerados "desaparecidos em ação". Agora, eles vão viver uma guerra muito particular, sem leis, sem planos, e sem nenhum comandante para quem prestar contas. Para estes sete homens, a Guerra será uma experiência inesquecível... mas apenas para quem conseguir sobreviver.
