Numa casa de praia estão reunidos Neila, atriz erótica, acompanhada de Amaro, economista, e seu amante; Letícia, com problemas de frigidez sexual; Ana, cuja amante, Sandra, se sente culpada com a relação amorosa; e Fábio, homossexual com pretensões a bailarino, à espera de Renato, seu amante. Três presidiários recém-foragidos seqüestram Renato, diretor do grupo teatral, e ocupam a casa de praia, à espera de um barco que ali ancorará a os levará para fora do país.

Sandra , viúva de um milionário devasso, vai ao litoral recuperar sua casa de praia tomada por grileiros. Na estrada dá carona à um casal de hippies extemporâneos. À partir daí o casal vai gradativamente se envolvendo, física e emocionalmente, com uma galeria de personagens insólitos, incluindo a própria viúva.
