If it's tough getting hitched, Malligadu is the man people come looking for. His marriage bureau specialises in finding partners for people who otherwise find it impossible to find a match. Not long after, Malligadu himself meets his match but it is not easy for him to handle the situation.

The film is set in the Nelakondapalli village of khammam district in Nizam Princely State of Hyderabad of the late 1940s. The feudal society is under the vice-like grip of an aristocratic family and its head, a Dorasani (Shwetha Menon). Mallamma (Baby Annie) is the darling of the village, who is living in perpetual humiliation. They seek solace in her songs. Brought up by Sambayya, an old man, she develops a mysterious attachment to a basil tree which is regarded as holy by the entire village.

Mighty star Srikanth comes up with yet another attempt to prove himself as a mass hero while fighter Sudhakar Naidu tries his hand at wielding the megaphone.

Bindaas (Telugu: బిందాస్) is a 2010 Telugu action film directed by Veeru Potla. The film stars Manoj Manchu and Sheena Shahabadi in the lead roles. Music of the film was launched on 9 November 2009. The movie released on February 5, 2010. On March 27, 2010 it had completed 50 Days in cinema halls. It is reported to have made over INR14 crores worldwide. It was dubbed and released in Malayalam as Happy 2 Happy.

Venkata Ramana (Venkatesh) is a ventriloquist. He goes along with the troop of artists to perform for a local Telugu association in Europe. Paris Prasad (Brahmanandam) is a tour organizer in Europe. Viyyalavari Kayyalu is a 2007 Telugu film starring Uday Kiran and Neha Jhulka. E.Satti Babu directed this movie. L. Sreedhar, produced it under their banner Larsco Entertainments of Ramalakshmi Creations. It was released on 1 November 2007. Vamshi (Uday Kiran) is a hair stylist who falls in love with Nandini (Neha Jhulka), sister of Bhoopathi Rayudu (Sri Hari), a good hearted factionist. Vamshi and Nandini decides to get married only with the consent of their elders. So Vamshi comes to Juturu, a village in Rayalaseema to convince Bhoopati Rayudu of his love with the latters sister. Initially Bhoopati doesn't like Vamshi and everyone laughs at Vamshi when he says that he is a hair stylist in city. But the pair believes that true love never runs away but stands brave even after initially being rejected. Bhoopati values the word given by any of his family members and stands by it.

Kathirvel is now determined to unite the lovers. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Finally, they both fall in love, but their parents do not agree with their marriage. Parents plan to avoid the marriage by giving the couple a clause that they should not meet each other for one year. If their love remains even after one year then their parents would agree to let them marry. Father of Ravi puts him under house arrest in Mumbai. While Vasundhara's father takes her to his hometown and arranges a forced marriage. However, both Ravi and Vasundhara manage to escape. The rest of the story is about how the pair unites against all odds.

Anthahpuram is a 1998 Telugu film directed by Krishna Vamsi. Prakash Raj, Soundarya and Jagapati Babu star in prominent roles. The film won three Filmfare Awards South for Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress. The film also went on to win the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor for Jagapati Babu and the Nandi Award for Best Female Playback Singer for S. Janaki.
