Edgar Rutger 'Eduard' Verkade (1878-1961) was a Dutch actor, director and producer. Responsible for revolutionizing Dutch theatre in the first decades of the 20th century and starring in several films, Verkade was one of the leading figures of the Dutch stage and screen.
