Em Asuka Island , os Chapéus de Palha aprendem sobre Shichiseiken , que é considerada a mais bela espada no Mundo e também um tesouro valioso , embora contenha uma maldição mortal . Quando eles retornam ao navio, eles percebem que Zoro, que devia atuar como guarda, está faltando, mas eles são forçados a deixar o porto quando eles são atacados por fuzileiros navais. Eles então deixam o navio em outra seção da ilha e se deparam com uma aldeia, cujo trabalho é manter o Seven Stars Espada selado. Que é logo atacado por fuzileiros navais que estão tentando libertar a espada de entre os quais é Zoro! Que razão poderia ter Zoro para fazer isso? Qual é o segredo da espada? Por que a Marinha a quer ? As respostas estão na noite da lua vermelha.
