The director takes us on a journey through the Portuguese continental and maritime borders, oriented by a map of Portugal. A year of pictures that cross the four seasons. The landscape is visited in detail, between buildings and natural landscapes, architecture denouncing the presence of civilization. The starting point is the point of arrival - and along the way we are introduced to people, stories, in an accurate representation of space and the life forms that inhabit it, including animals under threat of extinction.

Traços de um Diário é um diário de viagem cinematográfico. Através de uma série de encontros com alguns dos mais importantes fotógrafos do Japão, os diretores refletem sobre a natureza de criar imagens, contar histórias e o processo diarístico. Filmando com duas câmeras de 16 mm Krasnogorsk 3, Martins e Príncipe valorizam a crueza da espontaneidade e contingência sobre o tratamento estudado. Tanto um diário como uma reflexão sobre o gênero diarístico. Traços de um diário é uma visão pessoal sobre alguns dos fotógrafos mais importantes de hoje ea cidade que fotografam. Com Daido Moriyama, Nobuyoshi Araki, Takuma Nakahira, Hiromix, Kaiji Syoin, Kohei Yoshiyuki e Gerry Badger.
