A mother is a superhero in the eyes of her daughter, Adana. She is kept from leaving the country to work by the many villains created by Adana.

A teen-aged Clara is forced to spend a weekend at her Lola Lucing's house and the only way Lucing can communicate with her granddaughter is through what she knows and does best: her cooking.
