O filme se passa em 1930, e Jackie interpreta um cara que chega na cidade grande pela primeira vez, e é roubado. Logo no primeiro dia, perdendo tudo o que tinha. Jackie, lutador de kung fu, por acaso ajuda uma gangue local a vencer confronto com rivais. Elevando a condição de líder, descobre que seus comandados não passam de um bando de trapalhões.
