This film is shot to point out the flood of commercial messages in television program, on billboards and megaboards, messages that take over our subconscious mind. We Love Belgrade is a log-line that justifies huge investments. This shining out of advertisement messages is just a curtain that hides carelessness towards the environment and human lives. The whole Belgrade became a commercial to sell itself, by constantly sending ads to its citizens. Could a commercial have any influence on a young mother of two whose only source of money comes from trash cans?

Popular TV series has been reedited into a theatrical film with additional material that has not been seen on TV before. The film is a homage to the legends of the Yugoslav theater, some of whom are no longer alive. The story takes place in the town for ten years from 1931 to 1941 and shows the conflict of progressive and humane ideas with fascism. A film made from the TV series of the same name (nine episodes) realized in 1976 and shown in 1977.

"Jovem e Fresco como uma Alface" é uma forte feito visionário que ainda parece atual hoje como nos tempos em que foi filmado e proibido pela então censura comunista. Uma história sobre um jovem delinquente, que evolui de um típico marginal até chefe da máfia de Belgrado, parecia chocante na época; hoje, é a cruel realidade dos nossos tempos. Com incrível visão das coisas por vir, o protagonista de Jovanovic diz: "Eu sou o seu futuro". Mais poético que os filmes de Hollywood, muito mais realista do que "Trainspotting". Uma história emocionante sobre o crime, as drogas e a pressão mortal da polícia secreta na Sérvia. O melhor papel de Dragan Nikolic, um dos raros em que ele se apresentou como um tipo duro e o símbolo sexual autêntica desta região. Um bofetada na cara do cinema e de outras convenções. The film consists of three sequences shot by a fixed camera: the first shows the balcony of a hospital with patients (soundtrack from the film "Vivre sa vie" by Jean-Luc Godard), the second is a scraped wall and the third is a crossroad with pedestrians and cars (sound taken from the film "The Time-Machine " by George Pal).
