Este filme narra a história de um rapaz chamado Ning. Acompanhado do seu fiel amigo, um cão chamado "Ouro Sólido" (Mancha, na versão portuguesa), o Ning acaba numa cidade fantasma e dali se inicia uma aventura. Este filme explora alguns dos mitos e fantasias chineses à medida que a acção avança por um mundo de drama, romance e batalhas entre o bem e o mal.

Comic artist Cheung befriends Tat, who he believes is a triad godfather. Tat provides useful information for Cheung's new comic strip, but the joke is on Cheung when the cops start solving cases with clues from his comic strip.
