Alexandre Heboyan

História

Alexandre Heboyan graduated in 2004 from Gobelins film school. His short student film, Bigoudenn Migration, won many awards in international festivals and notably the jury honors in SIGGRAPH 2005. After school Alexandre moved to California to work for DreamWorks Animation. He notably animated characters on Kung Fu-Panda (2008). After a three year experience in the US, he moved back to France to direct his first Cg movie. Mune, the moon guardian, with Benoit Philippon. Produced by On Entertainment, the movie was created in Paris, and Cg production in Canada with Mikros Montréal. Mune, the moon guardian got a worldwide release, and amongst other prizes won awards in the Tokyo Animation Award Festival, Toronto TIFF, Kids’s Screen, Stockholm International Film Festival Junior. More countries are releasing the movie this year as Mune has been picked up by GKIDS for distribution in the US this summer.
