Steve Barry was born on January 30, 1965 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. A singer songwriter best known for his involvement in a number of bands (such as D.O.M., and The Wonders Band) he got into acting through his casting agency. At first lending his French and English voice over talents to commercials (Claritin Liberator, Royal Lepage, Videotron, Bell Canada) and then appearing in local TV shows such as Virginie (1996). He moved his way up slowly from background work to landing roles in speaking parts such as in Enquête  (2007), Krach (2010) and Sang-Froid: Un conte de loups-garous(2013).
