Gook Hyeon, um jornalista freelancer, é um desertor norte-coreano que está à procura de notícias quando se depara com Ki Man, um ex-detetive que vive com uma faca enfiada na cabeça. Ki Man está vivendo de sobras até Gook Hyeon convencê-lo de que ele iria ajudá-lo a se vingar de Jeong Tae Hwa, um chefão da máfia que matou seu parceiro. No caminho, eles trombam com Seol Ran, que está atrás de sua irmã, Song Hwa, que é amante de Jeong Tae Hwa.

Joo-Hee (Kim Hee-Jung) is a married professor. She is stunned to learn that her husband Dong-Hyuk (Seo Tae-Hwa) is having an affair with her own student Yeon-Mi(Seo Eun-A). Joo-Hee pretends she doesn't know about their relationship and invites Yeon-Mi to her home. Dong-Hyuk and Yeon-Mi, believing Joo-Hee is oblivious to their affair, continue their intimate relationship at his home. Joo-Hee though has her own plans.

An unknown calamity is killing off ninety-percent of mankind. There is no cure, no hope and no future. A man and woman, who are laden with suffering and anxiety, are drawn together. They spend their final days, and perhaps the final days of the planet, together in a different environment somewhere in central Japan of the near future.
