Lucia é uma menina yoreme, um povo indígena do México. Ela sonha em tocar harpa, mas tem um problema: o instrumento simboliza as mulheres e, segundo as tradições de seu povo, as mulheres não podem se tocar. O pai da jovem, Fidel, que é harpista, a proíbe de praticar. Em segredo, porém, Lucia começa a ter aulas com o avô. Uma festa da comunidade se aproxima, mas Fidel se machuca. Não há ninguém para tocar harpa na celebração, e Lucia precisa tomar uma decisão.

Life on the street deserves more than just the natural condition of observer anyone could have, it demands an extra attention. In a 100-meter radius, the sociological exuberance of the events going on is simply impossible to ignore. The street is a mise en scène in itself.
