Shao Ming falls in love for Feng Ling, a worker in his father's factory. A young woman who works in a clothes factory in Singapore meets the young master of the factory and they fall in love, experiencing the tribulations of a difficult relationship, amidst a background of societal and political change. The first Chinese film produced by Cathay-Keris, the film features local talents, themes, and the developing city and landscape of Singapore.
