Dipa's Mother
The Gejog mythology has been flourished mostly among amongst the Javanese. This myth is believed as the spirit army of Nyai Roro Kidul, searching for tumbal, or victims, to be turned into spirits of the abdi dalem. Dipa, a 10-year-old child who lives in one of the villages in Java, is always overshadowed by the appearance of Gejog itself. Dipa is curious with how the spirit army looks like.
Sunday Story
A housewife is running errands, such as getting the children ready for school and preparing breakfast while her husband is still asleep and shows no care for his wife's tasks at hand. The wife asks the husband to take the children to school, but the husband continues to sleep. This angers the wife, but she takes the children to school anyway. She doesn't realize it's Sunday.
