O filme conta a história de um adolescente, Nathan, de 13 anos. Após a morte de sua mãe por overdose, Nathan pega a estrada em busca do pai que ele não conheceu, em busca de um imprevisível futuro que pode ser mudado com a resolução de questões sobre o seu passado. Neste trajeto Nathan começa a entender sobre sexualidade.
