Arguably the most anticipated heavy music event of the year is set for Friday November 5th with Slipknot taking over Banc of California Stadium for the Los Angeles edition of the counter-culture celebration that is Knotfest.

A unique and fascinating insight into the career and controversies of one of the most successful and contentious heavy metal bands of all time: Slipknot. The film combines new interviews, backstage access and an exclusive live session from the nine-piece group, performing six career-defining tracks at the legendary Maida Vale Studios in front of an intimate audience. The six tracks, one from each of the band’s albums, transport the group, acknowledged by many as one of the most extreme live acts ever, from their usual arena-sized shows to a uniquely intimate and intense setting. The film highlights the group’s phenomenal 25-year career, revealing how one of the most relentless and intense-sounding groups ever have struggled with drink, drugs, depression and the death of a band member, topped the charts, outsold their peers and picked up a Grammy along the way, whilst staying as bold, fearless and exhilarating as ever.

O Slipknot é uma das bandas mais impressionantes do planeta em apresentações ao vivo . "Day Of The Gusano" captura a participação histórica do Slipknot na Cidade do México em 5 de dezembro de 2015. Foi o primeiro concerto da banda nesta cidade, famosa por seus fanáticos fãs de rock e metal. A partir do momento em que a banda chegou, os 'maggots' (o próprio termo da banda para seus fãs que eles também se autodenominam e que a tradução em espanhol é "gusano" e dá nome ao DVD) ficaram eufóricos e no momento do show, a atmosfera foi de pura eletricidade. "Day Of The Gusano" é uma performance visceral em um cenário espetacular e mostra um setlist com faixas de todos os álbuns. Foi filmado em alta definição.

Se o Rock in Rio tem cara de parque de diversões, o Slipknot é o Castelo do Terror ideal. O show desta sexta-feira (25) teve o mise-en-scène de horror de sempre - até uma chuva de papel picado, em momento "Carnapknot". O que faz diferença é que a música não é de brinquedo - continua boa. A banda de mascarados foi a única a ganhar totalmente a plateia nesta sexta.

Presenter of the BBC Radio One Rock Show, Daniel P. Carter is granted the chance to speak with band members: Corey Taylor, Shawn Crahan and Jim Root in the wake of their fifth album '.5 The Gray Chapter' whilst on their UK leg of the album tour. Carter, over the course of the film charts the history of Slipknot, delves into their evolution following the death of founding member Paul Gray and gives a glimpse at how Slipknot have transcended their genre in the process of cultivating a loyal fan base.
