Mario, a young dancer living in a small village has to face the loss of his beloved best friend Lenz, victim of an attack in a gay club.

The story of Jessica, a 17-year-old girl who lives in a strange world, a place that could be our world in the near future, perhaps, or in an alternate dimension. The point being that, whatever the nature of her world may be, Jessica's problems are the very same as they are in our world. Above all, the fear of a scary future haunts Jessica and seems to worry everybody around her as well, with the only escape appearing to be "like the other people". But Jessica's different: she has a dream and she has talent, yet her world rejects those who try to change the world and better their lives. All the isolation and bullying will have an unexpected impact on the situation, until a very shocking turning point of the story. All the way up to a shocking denouement.

Viena, 1945. A situação explosiva da guerra e a ocupação russa vista pelos olhos inocentes duma criança de 9 anos. Christine sabe tão pouco da paz como as crianças de hoje sabem da guerra. Com a casa destruída num bombardeamento e sem um tostão, a família de Christine instala-se numa mansão luxuosa nos arredores de Viena. Mas têm apenas um telhado sobre a cabeça, nada mais. Quando os soldados alemães se rendem, os russos ocupam a casa. Toda a gente tem medo dos russos, que têm a fama de ser uma turba caprichosa. Todos, menos Christine.

Baseada em fatos reais, esta história decorre em 1939, em vésperas da 2ª Guerra Mundial, quando Hitler sobrevive à explosão de uma bomba durante um evento comemorativo de seu partido. Entre a saída de Hitler da comemoração e a explosão que o mataria, decorreram 13 minutos. O plano foi engendrado por Georg Elser, carpinteiro e cidadão comum indignado perante a perda de liberdade e os abusos cometidos pelo regime. Considerado traidor da pátria, Elser foi imediatamente preso, mas só executado em 1945, por ordem direta de Hitler, quando a Alemanha já estava a perder a guerra.

Voices of the past are populating a ruinous mansion. A piano is playing, laughter and applause. In the midst of an invisible society the young mistress calls for a stranger. She wants him to free her, but is yet unsure about her decision.
