On the border between the real and the fantastic, between the colonial past and the overwhelming modernity of agribusiness, the city of Goiás is the scene of the meeting between the young Fernanda and her secret roots. She returns to the home of her wealthy uncle, after the death of her adoptive mother, in order to implode the certainties and to reveal the painful truth about its origin.

O documentário acompanha a segunda edição do concurso Mister Leather Brasil. Dom Barbudo, o primeiro Mister Leather Brasil eleito em 2017 e pioneiro na comunidade gay e BDSM de São Paulo, se prepara para entregar o prêmio a um dos quatro concorrentes.

Paulistas e Soledade são duas regiões rurais do sul de Goiás. No início dos anos 90, o êxodo rural foi intensificado com a expansão da monocultura, culminando no desaparecimento da população jovem a partir de 2014. O filme mostra o período das férias de julho, quando os filhos vão visitar os pais.
