Pierre é um viúvo aposentado que não sai de casa há mais de dois anos, e agora tem a chance de voltar a viver novamente com a ajuda da internet. Isso porque através de Alex, um homem contratado por sua filha para ensiná-lo a usar o computador, acaba criando um perfil em um site de namoro. Lá, conhece a linda jovem Flora, e decide marcar um encontro. Mas ele só tem uma problema: a foto que usou no perfil é de Alex, e não dele.
