The story of the short life, and brutal gang rape and murder in Delhi in December 2012 of an exceptional and inspiring young woman. The rape of the 23 year old medical student by 6 men on a moving bus, and her death, sparked unprecedented protests and riots throughout India and led to the first glimmers of a change of mindset. Interwoven into the story line are the lives, values and mindsets of the rapists whom the film makers have had exclusive and unprecedented access to interview before they hang. The film examines the society and values which spawn such violent acts, and makes an optimistic and impassioned plea for change.
Lady Tarzan
Raghu, a business tycoon, is driving through a forest with scenic views with Rani, his preteen daughter, when they are suddenly stopped and attacked by a group of thugs. They start hitting Raghu and, when the child interferes, one of them grabs her and throws her over his head to a certain death in the deep river and waterfalls below. Surprisingly, the girl survives the fall and, with the help of wild animals, grows up healthy and athletic as Lady Tarzan. Her parents are doing their best to find her...

Due to her son's, Devdutt's arrest, Satyavati is unable to take the Badrinath Yatra. Subsequently, he starts to frequent a brothel to visit with a courtesan, Chandravati, and virtually refuses to do anything with his pregnant wife, Sheila. He even drinks alcohol, and assaults his father, Jaggannath, and brother, Sridhar. Things get even worse when he blinds his mother, lets Chandravati and her entourage move in their family home, and asks Sheila to serve the courtesan.
