Alexandru Belc (born in 1980; Brasov city) is a Romanian filmmaker. He graduated Bucharest Film Academy in 2007 and got an MA in Political Science from University of Bucharest in 2012. He worked as 1st assistant director for directors such as Corneliu Porumboiu and Cristian Mungiu and was the director of several social TV campaigns. Also, directed several short films, both fiction and documentary, including his debut documentary feature 8th of March nominated for the 2012 Silver Eye Award and screened at the European Film Festival in Bucharest, Media Wave International Film Festival Hungary, Transilvania International Film Festival Cluj-Napoca, Making Waves New York and awarded as Best Documentary at Fine Art Film Festival Szolnok. His short documentary film The Sound of Mountains was screened at Berlinale International Film Festival Berlin and his short documentary Rebel Rebel had its international premiere at Visions du Réel International Film Festival Nyon, Switzerland in 2010.

Follows the story of Viktor Purice - manager, former projectionist and lifetime cinephile and his two loyal employees, Cornelia & Lorena, in their everyday battle to preserve Dacia Panoramic Cinema in Piatra Neamt - one of the last remaining cinemas in Romania today. Having lived through "the golden age" of cinema, Viktor dreams of bringing back the good old glory days, yet struggles to keep up with the new harsh reality. In a theater that lacks heating and is slowly falling apart, with no support from the State who owns the place, it’s almost a Don Quixote fight.

Vlad, 38, works as a tour guide on cruise ships. When he started work ten years ago, he left behind a failed relationship and a small child: Max, his son, who is now almost a teenager. Vlad happens to come back to Romania for a week and tries to connect with his son and make up for the lost time.

Lá elas recebem um certo Sr. Bebe (Vlad Ivanov), chamado para resolver a questão. Mas, ao saber que Gabita está com a gravidez mais adiantada do que havia informado, Sr. Bebe aumenta as exigências para o serviço. Ele cobra um preço que as duas não estão preparadas para pagar.
