Ricardo, Cris e Valentino continuam se metendo em problemas. Ricardo precisa que sua carreira de comediante deslanche, mas a fama chega da pior maneira, quando um vídeo constrangedor se torna viral. Agora, para salvar sua relação com Margarita, tem que resolver alguns problemas: a mãe cansativa, o terapeuta por quem sua namorada está encantada, a manager sedutora que quer levá-lo para a Espanha.
Ricardo é um comediante amador que quer ficar famoso. Ele atravessa um momento especialmente difícil quando sua namorada termina com ele para ficar com um homem mais velho e rico. Com seus dois amigos, Ricardo conclui que na sociedade colombiana é impossível ser bem sucedido sem ter dinheiro ou um parente importante, sendo por isso melhor aparentar ser alguém de classe mais alta.
Marcelo Quevedo and his brother Carlos Quevedo were separated in childhood when Carlos left Cuba with his mother on a boat to seek a different life. Marcelo was left behind in Cuba burdened with the heavy duty of caring for his grandfather who was in poor health. Distance wasn’t the only issue that marked the separation of the two brothers; their mother couldn’t endure the rough trip and she died before the boat could reach its destination. More than twenty years later, Carlos Quevedo decides to return to Cuba to see his brother only to find that he is now stricken with ALS, a terminal disease that slowly immobilizes him to the point of a vegetative state.

Meanwhile, her mother, Florencia, must make tough moral decisions in order for them to survive under the political oppression. Even Carnival, with all its colorfulness and celebration, cant disguise the mounting tension between the villagers and government making the girls coming of age all the more difficult when the two collide. This movie combines attractive visual scenes with a highly sensual atmosphere as Florencia fights and uses all her resources and beauty to survive and find revenge.
