The Ape Girl

The story of Ming Ling Shur, a girl who was raised by apes and thus has a natural ability with monkey kung fu. She also resembles a monkey for most of the film (not really explained why). She grows up and falls for a prince who is really an evil kung fu master, who exploits her abilities for his own gain. Now here's why the film works; Kam Fung does an excellent job as the Ape Girl, being very eccentric at times with the actions of a monkey. Also, we see early performances by Lo Lieh as an assassin, and Chen Sing as the prince.

Lee Yi Min stars as an eager young kung fu student who seeks to improve his fighting skills with an aim to avenge his fathers murder at the hands of the Ghost Face Killer an overwhelming force of destruction and master of the death dealing Five Element Fist. Lee eagerness to study attracts the attention of the master of Chess Boxing Jack Long who is the Ghost Face Killers arch enemy. Together master and student devise a wicked cross fertilization of the Chess Boxing and Five Element Fist styles and set out to put an end to the Ghost Faces deadly reign.

Chia Ling aka Judy Lee (SHAOLIN INVINCIBLES, QUEEN BOXER) stars as a woman summoned by a retired general to sing and play the lute for him, but as she performs, he attempts to assault her and in the process murders her. The general and his assistant throw her body and lute into a fire, but Master Ku, a scholar who was watching her father, finds the burnt shell of the lute which now contains her ghost. Together they will now try and bring the general and his henchmen to justice.

A rich landowner has an affair with a poor girl and gets her pregnant. He refuses to marry her, and on a cold night the woman and baby freeze to death. They return as ghosts to haunt him.
