A young man gets involved in a traffic accident at midnight and is brought to the police station to be questioned. After getting the news, his mother and father immediately come to the police station. The father, who prevents his son from exhaling into the breathalyser, tries to save his son by using his clout. This night of fierce conflict between the mother, son, and the police officer ends with an unexpected incident.

Istanbul 2014: Aslı gives shelter to a young political activist, who got into a fight with the police. The police investigates the case and ends up questioning Aslı's family. Her husband gets drawn into the affair. Their lives, and also their son's, start to become compromised. The situation escalates, as Aslı is not willing to cooperate with the investigators.

Burhan and Emin, who have been friends since high school, have been working at a factory as security guards. One night when they were listening to radio, the announcer mentions the birthday of a celebrity and Burhan says that his birthday has never been celebrated. After getting upset over this incident, Emin decides to make his friend happy by celebrating his birthday with a cake. When Burhan goes to security booth to get tea, Emin takes out the cake he has prepared and lights the candles.
