O Ladrão de Pêssegos é um filme búlgaro de 1964, dirigido por vulo Radev e baseado numa história de Emilian Stanev. Situado no final da Primeira Guerra Mundial, conta a história de um caso de amor em turbilhão entre um prisioneiro de guerra sérvio, Ivo Obrenovich e a mulher de um coronel, Elisaveta.
O título refere-se a um incidente na trama em que Ivo Obrenovich é apanhado apor Elisaveta no jardim dela a roubar pêssegos . A sua vida solitária com seu marido frio leva-a à dependência dos seus encontros frequentes no pomar dos pêssegos. Eles formam um amor mútuo profundo e carinhoso um para o outro.
Production Design
Ani, a charming young girl, is a driver at Sofia Airport. She sends a letter to her boyfriend Boyan, a worker at a large construction site. The letter contains a single word "yes". Boyan starts preparing for a wedding. The Soviet pilot Andrey will soon return home after several years spent working with his Bulgarian colleagues. They arrange a farewell tour of Bulgaria for him on which Ani has to drive him. Because of mistaken jealousy, Boyan tears up his sweetheart's letter.

Chased by the military police force, the partisans Boyka and Anton take refuge in a cave. A grenade explosion dislodges the rock, which seals off the passage.

The main heroes are twin brothers. The first is responsible young fellow and excellent footballer. The second one is an undependable gambler. The police are after him. A pretty girl stands in between them. She has profoundly fallen for the footballer. By coincidence, the twins change places, which result in a formidable mess and funny situations. Ultimately, all the misunderstandings are settled and the couple re-joins.
