Poland, 1990 – American music journalist Ruth takes her father Edek, a Holocaust survivor, on a journey to his childhood haunts, hoping to make sense of her family's troubled past. When Edek, reluctant to face his trauma, undermines their trip with his unpredictable and more eccentric than usual demeanor, Ruth is forced to challenge him and the values with which he raised her.

A hot, dry summer, like so many in recent years. Forest fires are uncontrollable. Four young people meet in a holiday home on the Baltic Sea not far from Ahrenshoop. Slowly and imperceptibly they are enclosed by the walls of flame. A red sky arches over them. They doubt, they are afraid – not because of the fires, it is love that scares them.

The film opens with images of the Ariane 5 launch base in the jungle of French Guyana. Then a weightless frog in space, tropical plants mixed with technological models of the Star City in Moscow, an iguana in the role of Donna Haraway's cyborg and the incredible archival images of space agencies around the world. "No Gravity" is a film between science and fiction, seen from a queer, lesbian and feminist point of view.

Aleksandra, 23 anos, é uma estudante de inglês em Liubliana, Eslovênia. Parece pouco motivada para estudar e mais disposta a ganhar dinheiro para ter uma vida melhor. Ninguém sabe que Aleksandra publica anúncios pessoais sob a alcunha de "A Garota Eslovena" e que a prostituição é a sua fonte secreta de renda. "Slovenka" logo se torna bastante famosa nos tablóides, o que torna ainda mais difícil para Aleksandra continuar mentindo para os amigos e especialmente para o pai afetuoso e sincero.
