Doraemon lança-se numa aventura ecológica para salvar a Terra duma terrível ameaça, juntamente com Nobita e os restantes amigos.
Com os incríveis inventos que tira do seu bolso mágico, Doraemon, junto com Nobita, põem mãos à obra a fim de criarem o seu próprio mundo, em pleno céu: uma nuvem gigantesca com um castelo, árvores, um rio... até tem carros movidos a energia solar! Durante a sua viagem na nuvem encontram-se com uns estranhos seres que pretendem destruir a civilização para castigar os humanos pela falta de compromisso destes para com o meio ambiente. Doraemon e os restantes amigos terão de procurar aliados e convencer os habitantes das nuvens de que na Terra também há pessoas que lutam pela natureza. Nesta aventura irão estabelecer novas amizades, enfrentarão toda a espécie de perigos, encontrarão animais pré-históricos, e darão tudo para salvar o planeta.

When a variety of circumstances leave Nobita, Doraemon and the gang wanting to run away from home, they face the task of finding somewhere to live. However, with every seemingly spare piece of land already owned by someone else, building themselves a house looks impossible – that is, until Nobita has the idea of travelling back seventy thousand years into the past. While the group are making themselves at home in an uninhabited Japan, back at home a glitch in space-time has sent a caveboy crashing into the middle of the city. When they return to the present, Doraemon et al encounter the child – named Kukuru – and take him with them back to their prehistoric paradise. Together, the gang decides to return the young boy to his true time and help him free his captured friends, even if it means facing the dangers of Kukuru’s enemies: the dark tribe.

The year is 1945. Everything as usual in the Fukuoka city. Some places in Japan have already been scorched by the fire of war, but here it is relatively peaceful and calm. The school still working, and the boys play war in their spare time. Daichi and his friend are the commanders of rival squads. One day a newcomer appears in the class - Yoriko, a girl evacuated from Tokyo. Yoriko takes life very seriously, she has good reasons - her childhood ended after the loss of loved ones in the bombing. Children get to know each other and become friends. They, as the rest of the city, do not yet know that on June 19 their life will be divided into "before" and "after".

Pan-chan, faz um novo amigo, Tiny, um bebê tigre que se perdeu de um circo. Levar Tiny de volta para sua mãe é a primeira aventura, mas depois de uma tempestade a cidade inteira é inundada e Mimiko, Papanda e Pan-chan, precisam resgatar todos os animais que ficaram presos em um trem.

A alegre Mimiko tem uma família muito incomum para uma garotinha, um urso panda como “papai” e o filhote dele que a chama de “mamãe”. Quando Pan-chan segue Mimiko até a escola ele tenta fingir que é um ursinho de pelúcia para não coloca-la em apuros, mas apesar dos esforços para se comportar ele causa confusão na cozinha e passa a ser perseguido.
