Prani

Dee

Dhammariya falls into the urge of using it to contact his family. This incident leads him back to his past and makes him unstable as he is attached to the cell phone.
Dajang Soembi
Silent short (with music and inter-titles) telling an old Indonesian folk tale of a princess who ends up married to a dog.
Drum has a violent childhood and his mother goes missing in the ocean when they try to escape from the village. Then a car hits his father in front of him while his Chinese girlfriend is killed in a riot. When he grows up, he works as a crime reporter and writes a novel that becomes a bestseller and is sought after by a student, Air Sunyi (Lola Amaria), for her thesis subject. Then Air contacts Drum, in his beach house. But then she gets tied up as apparently, Drum is using Air to find his mother's face. Air fights back and bites Drum's finger off. In the VCD, this particular scene is not shown due to censorship. The story ends when Air receives a package from Drum containing the novel, "Novel Tanpa Huruf R".
Beth
The story takes place in a mental hospital. Many things are going on. There is Pesta (Bucek Depp), a junky who was moved from a prison to the hospital. He meets Beth (Ine Febriyanti), the daughter of a high-ranking government official, who asked that her daughter gets a special treatment, but this must remain a secret. There are a poet, a politician and a nurse who was an ex-patient, and Beth’s helper, also Rehan (Nurul Arifin) who has her own set of problems. The doctors at the hospital seem no different from the patients. There is also an artist who makes installation art works. His artistic doctrin is: the more complicated it is for a work of art to be understood, the better. It is unclear if the artist is the hospital 's patient, because he is never inside of the hospital but is always in the courtyard.
