Shurika tem uma luta em um ônibus com um valentão chamado Fedya porque este não queria dar o lugar reservado para uma mulher grávida. Fedya é punido com trabalho comunitário num canteiro de obras onde Shurika trabalha em tempo parcial. Naturalmente, Fedya quer vingança. 2º - "Navazhdenie" ("Impressão Estranha"). É hora do exame final. Shurika está muito ocupado tentando encontrar material para estudar. De repente percebe o material necessário nas mãos de alguém. Segue essa pessoa pela cidade, por todos os lugares, tentando ler sobre o ombro. 3º - "Operatsiya Y" ("Operação Y"). Um diretor de depósito, tentando encobrir desfalques em seu estoque, contrata três criminosos para simular um roubo. Na noite da Operação "Y", a velha senhora que guarda o depósito pediu a seu inquilino, que obviamente é o Shurika, para substitui-la no serviço de guarda.

About the first years of the formation of Soviet power, about the life and work of Feliks Dzerzhinsky in 1918-1925. The film covers the most important episodes of his biography. In July 1918, as a result of a revolt of the Left Socialist Revolutionaries, the German ambassador Mirbach was killed. Feliks Dzerzhinsky alone goes to the headquarters of the Left Socialist Revolutionaries and Anarchists, he manages to persuade ordinary soldiers and sailors, participants in the rebellion, who are now cracking down on their leaders. In 1921, Dzerzhinsky was aimed at combating homelessness, as a result of which, by 1925, former homeless children, having completed their studies, were sent to the construction of Yugostal, the largest industrial plant in Ukraine.

One falls in love with her and they vow to meet in Moscow on a bridge at Six P.M. when the war ends. The war puts them on diverse trails, but the pledge is fulfilled against a setting of Moscow's famous fireworks displays.

É um "típico" filme de propaganda patriótica bélica; sobre a capacidade da URSS de repelir qualquer agressor (dastaque para os alemães). Documenta treinamentos, desfiles, recrutamento e o preparo do Exército Vermelho para a guerra iminente. Dzigan, no início da década de 1930, havia feito filmes sobra a emancipação feminina tais como "O julgamento deve prosseguir" [1930, Женщина] -- camponeses, nas fazendas comunitárias -- e "Mulher" [1932, Суд должен продолжаться] -- citadinos, sobre o machismo e outros costumes burgueses. Adaptation of Pushkin's fairy tales. The tale is about a fisherman who manages to catch a Golden Fish which promises to fulfill any wish of his in exchange for its freedom. The storyline is similar to the Russian fairy tale "The Greedy Old Wife" and the Brothers Grimm's tale "The Fisherman and His Wife".
