A young karate master tries to defend his karate school and take revenge on those responsible for his master's death.

A veteran policeman named Fernando feels a lot of hatred against Ángel because the boy ran him over with a car leaving him lame. Now Fernando accuses the young crook of having participated in a robbery at a gas station in which a murder has occurred. Helped by his friends, Ángel rebuilds the facts that serve him as an alibi, but while he is in pre-trial detention in La Modelo prison (Barcelona) a terrible mutiny will take place.
Miguel is a young Spanish naval engineer in love with an American student of History of Art. When she becomes pregnant, she decides that the easiest solution to her situation is to marry her civilly. However, in Spain in the 1970s, prior to the passage of the Divorce Law, the only way to do so is to apostatize the Catholic Church. For Miguel, a believing devotee, taking this step involves a deep inner conflict.

García is employed of advertising at a factory of razor blades and goes out in secret with Conchita, the daughter of the director. One day, taking advantage of the cycle return to Spain, García puts into practice a new and risky system of making him an advertising, but Raúl, the director, dismisses García because he didn´t like the idea. From here, García will gain the life himself in the most varied works: barber, bootblack and guide of the Prado Museum. A difficult situation in order that his former chief accepts the relation that it supports with his daughter.
