O filme retratará o cotidiano do filósofo na sua casa em Colonial Heights, estado da Virgínia (EUA), onde reside atualmente, captando a atmosfera de trabalho intelectual, convívio familiar e, principalmente, o seu pensamento filosófico no que concerne à autonomia da consciência individual em oposição à tirania da coletividade. A contraposição entre a vida cotidiana e a transcendência filosófica será o eixo de sustentação do documentário.
